I finally got my 22inch widescreen monitor for my 22nd birthday, thanks to my parents and my best friends =D

This is great example of Twitter at work - I looked at the prices a few months ago but widescreen monitors were quite expensive. Then Myles (madpilot) posted on Twitter about his new 22inch monitor, and I saw where to get it and how cheap it was. Score!

I also got my dad to help make me shelf to put all my gear on, which makes up for what it lacks in aesthetics in the fact that it’s custom made to fit all my stuff. The next step will be to get myself a USB hub (my lappy only has two which are inconveniently situated on the back and one of which is always taken up with my mouse and keyboard), some bits to keep my cords and things neat on the side, and some kind of thing to clip my iPod into. I was thinking of making my Munny (the little monkey toy on the left) into an iPod dock when I get around to customising it, but I’m a bit scared of cutting it up.
