Many of these buildings are painted in bright colours with lots of embellishments.

I’m a bit disappointed I never managed to make it to the Botanical Gardens and see the orchid garden there, which I’ve heard is really lovely! Next time.

There is so much more to see in Singapore than I’d thought – next time I pass through I’ll definitely have to make sure I spend a bit more time there!
