Home Again

We were welcomed back to Australia at 5am with heat, humidity and electrical storms. I usually associate increasing temperature with the Christmas season, but alas that’s already come and gone. The sun here is brutal but more familiar to the pale, shy thing that I got used to in Europe. I’m a paler shade of my usual summer self, but a few more jogging sessions out in the sunshine and I’ll be dark again no matter how judiciously I apply sunscreen. We spent the weekend fighting jetlag and trying to find a place to live.

Travel is fun, but it’s good to be home!

Thanks Helen! Nope, not at all – there’s a few big and exciting changes happening at the moment, and whilst they’re being sorted out everything is a bit up in the air! Hopefully things will settle down soon.
